Boost Your Metabolism with Coconut Oil!

www.undergroundwellness.com In a study published in 1996 in the Journal of Lipid Research, animals fed a diet consisting of at least 50 percent MCFAs had significant weight loss. In contrast, a group fed the same diet with the same number of calories, but consisting of 50-percent long-chain fatty acids (LCFAs found in other foods), lost no weight whatsoever. Other studies confirm that MCFAs are oxidized (burned up and used for energy) instead of being stored in the fatty tissue of the body, as are the LCFAs. As a result, you generate more heat to burn calories, kick-starting the body into burning up existing fat stores. Studies with human confirm animal research * A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 1991 found that humans consuming a meal containing 30 grams (2 tablespoons) MCFAs and 8 grams (about 1.5 tablespoons) LCFAs had a significant rise in temperature compared to those who at the same meal containing 38 grams LCFA. This rise in temperature indicates higher metabolic activity caused by better thyroid functioning, revealing how coconut oil helps your thyroid and boosts your metabolism More in the book Eat Fat, Lose Fat by Sally Fallon and Dr. Mary Enig Schedule YOUR consultation with Sean by emailing sean@undergroundwellness.com Please visit our websites! www.undergroundwellness.tv http www.theuwstore.com http www.twitter.com www.facebook.com www.facebook.com

If you but coconut oil make sure it says ‘Virgin’ on the label. I bought ‘pure’ coconut oil and it is horrible. There is no coconut smell or taste. It tastes like soap! I am throwing the rest of it out.

The truth is that Coconut oil is a PLANT FAT, not at all the same fat as found in animals…oh HELLO! It’s a plant cholesterol. I’m telling you, I use it all the time from Tropical Traditions, and you can get the Gold Label, which is still extracted by hand, not expeller pressed, although they do have both kinds. It does heal as well. I had a very bad, dry patch of skin on my arm for years. I started using Coconut Oil on it, instead of commercial creams and it did in fact, heal it.

@HDuyNguyen *Facepalm* Yes, yes you do. You are getting your opinions blurred with fact. Dont announce claims that you have personally and pass them off as fact. Rookie mistake. Also an arrogant way to turn things.

@HDuyNguyen First of all, comparing coconut oil to lard or beef drippings might be the dumbest thing i ve seen in a long time, even for youtube. Secondly, the saturated fats in lard and beef drippings are a different type of fat compared to the saturated fats in coconut oil. the saturated fats in Coconut oil are medium chain fatty acids, they have totally different properties, I really suggest you look them up, im not here to do your job for you

@robattire No, I don’t, yet still, that does not invalidate the fact that coconut oil’s saturated fat is not special.

Your points are all invalid, as you are Kevin Trudeau-allied fraudsters!

@HDuyNguyen do you have scientific data proving that a medium chain fatty acids increase the chance of heart disease?

@HDuyNguyen I would do some research into saturated fat if i were you… This isnt a diet plan. Add it into your diet and see if you have any good effects. You seem to be clinging onto this being a fad and how everyones jumping on the band wagon with “testimonials” People are claiming how it effects their being. Back to saturated fat. Its never been proven in living history thats its bad for you. Go find me a scientific paper to back this up…. Good luck.

@str8desi Like I have said before, personal testimonies and ad populum have no effect on scientific veracity.

Coconut oil DOES have good dermatological properties, but its dietary effects are quite similar to that’s of lard or beef drippings, in that if you want to avoid heart disease, you’d be better off not taking it. Its saturated fat has no special qualities, and claim of such qualities is quite similar to the escape hatches used by creationists to avoid the principle of falsifiability.
